The principle of operation of the refrigerator
The cooling system has three main elements: a condenser, an evaporator and a compressor. The first two modules are connected using pipes to the compressor. Inside is freon, which is converted into vapor in the evaporator and distilled into a condenser using a compressor. There, the substance cools and passes into a liquid state, after which it is again sent to the compressor. While the substance is in the evaporator, during the formation of steam, thermal energy is released, which is used for cooling.
The circulation process is provided by means of a control valve that creates a pressure difference in the tubes. Also through them, heat is released into space when the freon vapor leaves the compressor.
How much does the refrigerator warm the room?
Refrigerators heat the room very slightly due to the small power consumption. On average, most models in normal operation consume 150 W / h, which are spent on heating the room. If new products are regularly placed inside, additional energy is spent on cooling them, but this value is also small.
Interesting fact: A refrigerator needs about 50 watts of energy to cool 10 kg of food. The same amount of heat is released when the laptop.
Do not forget that even if the device is connected to the power supply around the clock, it works intermittently. When the temperature inside the refrigerator drops to a certain value, it stops the cooling process, and after it rises, it turns on again. Because of this, even less heat is released into space.
Refrigerators do not heat the room much due to the small amount of energy consumed. They also work intermittently, cooling the contents only when the temperature rises, and during pauses, the heat generated is dissipated throughout the room.
